An interactive courtroom program designed to provide attorneys with practical litigation opportunities in a collaborative environment.

Robert N.C. Nix, Sr. Federal Courthouse, 900 Market Street, Philadelphia

2-4 pm

Wine & cheese reception 4-5 pm

CLE Credit 2.0

$25 for members

$50 for non members
Free for students and non CLE participants

Building on The Evidentiary Hearing Unpacked session from the past Forum, participants will have the unique opportunity to present a mock witness or argument using the materials from the Forum in a live courtroom setting. This unique program will offer participants the opportunity to sharpen advocacy skills, receive valuable feedback, and gain insight into effective courtroom presentation and strategy.

There are six 20-minute participant slots available, and presentation times will be assigned in advance of the program. Sign up using the attached link and select the item you are most interested in (witness direct, witness proffer, or closing argument). Participants may use their time to practice a witness direct/proffer or present an argument “at the podium” before a judge and receive observations they can put into practice for their next live hearing.

Attorneys and law students who are not presenting are also encouraged to attend to observe, learn, and gain insight from the exercises and feedback discussions.

Office Hours is a new offering in partnership with the Conference and the Court focused on professional development, mentorship, and meaningful engagement. This program is designed for practitioners with fewer than eight years of experience (including summer associates and interns at member firms who may be interested) to gain valuable “on your feet” opportunities, though practitioners at all levels are welcome to participate.Eastern District of Pennsylvania Bankruptcy Conference  Presents
